PROGRAMS

Drum for Change provides interactive programming for groups of 4 to 400 people. Pricing varies by location, duration, numbers, and program design. Special rates are available for organizations focused on social good. We also partner with Conduit for Change for movement and visual arts offerings. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.

FOR ADULTS:

Greg is a highly-experienced group facilitator with a background in leadership, wellness, and group dynamics.

TEAM BUILDING
Music is the metaphor for communication, connection, and collaboration. Programs are designed for bonding through shared experiences that are connective rather than competitive.

WELLNESS
Improve social and mental well being through creative self-expression. Reduce stress and burnout, feelings of isolation and anxiety, and costs associated with presenteeism and turnover.

CONFERENCE KEYNOTES
Bring the message to life rather than sit through a lecture. Another boring powerpoint simply doesn't cut it anymore....  The epitome of "less talk and more action", D4C tailors somatic sessions to take us out of our heads and into our bodies.  Go beyond cognitive approaches into deeper understanding through experiential learning.

FOR YOUTH:

Greg is an in-demand teaching artist providing residencies and one-off programs for SCHOOLS, churches, and camps.

SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Through the exploration of cultures around the globe, your students learn to play a variety of percussive instruments, found-sound or student-made instruments, and body percussion.  The programming combines music with social studies, language arts, movement, and science, and it's designed to support classroom teachers in integrating music and culture to align with state and national education standards.  Consider this content for arts residencies, international festivals, and assemblies.  Discounts available for recurring programs.

GRIEF RETREATS
Drum for Change is a popular and joyous offering for hospice organizations. Drawing on world wisdom traditions, we focus on connecting participants to one another through music and celebration while honoring the feelings we all carry.

SUMMER CAMPS
Both as guest appearances and stand-alone camp immersions, kids participate in hands-on and dynamic programs making joyful noise on drums. It’s huge fun AND taps into ideas about musicality, culture and social emotional learning.

FOR SENIORS:

Recreational Music Making (RMM) is at the forefront of establishing a solid foundation for proving the biological benefits of group drumming.  Greg is a trained facilitator for several protocols delivering consistent, research-based results proving that playing music together is good for you! Greg and Annelies are big believers in Creative Aging and Social Prescribing. Check out our new flyer HERE.

OTHER OFFERINGS:

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT RETREATS & WORKSHOPS
Along with his partner Annelies Gentile of Conduit for Change, Greg leads engaging in-person and online get-aways that rejuvenate and stimulate through experiential learning. It’s a joyful mix of practices while learning relaxation techniques, creative process, and group dynamics that help make life better for you (and everyone around you).

SPECIAL EVENTS
Rhythm makes special events truly unique.  Activities can be tailored to suit your organization, school, or community.  Worship services, inclusion workshops, non-profit fundraising, international fairs, arts festivals, family reunions, weddings, and grief camps are some examples.  Traditionally-inspired percussion performances can spice things up!  This might include live drumming for movement classes like yoga or dance, educational concerts, or drum petting zoos for festivals.  Performances are great to liven things up and work well in venues ranging from coffee shops to senior centers.

STORYTELLING
Greg is a member of the North Carolina Storytelling Guild. He shares folk stories and travel tales filled with life lessons that are good wisdom for modern society. A great addition to special events, he offers short performances set to music. Enjoy a sample HERE. Be sure to check out the storytelling page on this site!
